Tangled Cake Pops

My little girl asked for a Tangled (Rapunzel) party for her 5th birthday. Of course, I had to add some tangled cake pops to go with it! The purple is designed from Rapunzel's corset and the yellow is inspired by her beautiful hair. The filling inside of these pops are the all to amazing oreo truffles! I couldn't resist and ate more than 1.... can you really blame me?

I was feeling a bit frugal.... well, alot frugal... so I jimmied up a cake pop stand from a utensil holder that I found at the local thrift store. Thinking it over now, I probably could have jazzed it up more.... next time :)

This is the table settings for 6 kids and their stuffed animals that came to have tea. The tea party was set and my little girl was ecstatic to play dress up and be really girly for the day. Games played at the tangled tea party were: musical chairs, hopscotch, duck duck goose, and "run with a grape" as my kids called it. (Put a grape on a spoon and run to the end without dropping it). The food we had at the tea party was: tea sandwiches, grapes, wafers, cupcakes and cake pops... oh and pink "tea" of course.

It sure was a blast for a birthday party!

Start Up of Lollycakes

I started the cake pop craze a little over a year ago, making them for family events and for friends. When I found that requests were coming in, I decided to make a go at a small business.

My biggest order so far has been for 120 cake pops. I made Red Velvet, Chocolate, Chocolate Pretzel, and Confetti Cake Pops. I am excited to venture out and discover more and more flavors and cake pop genius ideas!

I find that the act of "cakepopping" lets me use my creative energies and sugar-cravings all in one! These cake pops are do DIE for... and it sure is fun along the way.
